Sigh now how sad is this, coming to BTP to blog. My home computer's quite screwed up now, don't know why. I didn't download anything... Hey wait come to think of it, it's always been this screwed up.

So anyway, how did I end up here?

Okay, my bike was dead, airless tyres. So I decided to walk instead. Just walk. Let God lead me on my way! :D It's really fun, by the way, to just keep walking, knowing you are not pressed for time, knowing you are free, knowing God is with you always. :D Do you think I'm crazy? Well, seeing all those sad people rushing everywhere, I think they're the crazy ones (in no negative way).

I started off by walking north-west. I stay near pandan reservoir, that's west coast. Walking north-east means I'll end up in Jurong East. So that's what I did. I don't know how long I took, but I made it. Haha when you're singing and praying all the way, eyes blind to everything else, time really does not seem to pass at all.

Jurong East is still familiar territory. I wanted some exploration, some new ground. Of course, I got it. All I had to do was keep walking. :D I passed the library and MRT station at Jurong, then I ended up in some poorer district. The units were quite small. Yet people seemed more open there. The doors were open, things were left outside, there was a very close kampong feel. I remember walking along this path where trees and bushes enveloped thickly on both sides. Surreal experience.

After that I found myself in bukit batok. I don't remember ever going there before. New place, to me. The first thing greeting me were HDB flats, painted red and white, with windows black in colour (my favvie colour combi, red black, white XD). Really quite cool. I wandered about. Walked here and there, bus interchange, MRT station, shopping mall, HDB blocks... Kept going for quite a long time. Suddenly I realized I went in a circle. Back to bus interchange. Hahahahahaha. Seriously, the signs were bukit batok to the left, bukit batok to the right, the only difference was east, west, avenue one two three... So confusing.

I then took a turn into the Bukit Batok nature reserve. Nice place :D To be with nature, God's creations, so clean, beautiful. To be alone, with God. Fantassstic I tell you. Lovely experience.

So I tread through the whole reserve to the other side. Ended up at upper bukit timah road (FINALLY SOMEWHERE I'M FAMILIAR WITH). I was thinking, okay, at least there are buses I can take home from here, so I'm safe if anything goes wrong. There was a signboard pointing to dunearn/clementi road. YAYYY!!! God led me safely :D

So I walked... And walked... And walked... And now I'm here in BTP (bukit timah plaza), in the LAN shop blogging. Great. It's supposed to be a gaming place. They must be thinking I'm a weirdo now (not like I'm not).

Byebye, it's time for me grab some refreshments and walk home. By the way, its been about 4 hours since I set off! :P

---

WOOHOO I'M HOME!! Walked a marathon. Thank God for bringing me home safely.

After BTP I took a very long walk to clementi. By bus, the journey's roughly 10minutes. A bus travels about 10 times as fast as me. Over an hour's trek for me! Hehe I was counting the number of 154s that passed. Each bus has a rough 15 minute interval between. There were six buses. LOL.

I got myself a haircut at clementi, one of those QB outlets. $10. Ripoff. Then again the school charges the same for haircuts. And the school doesn't have a TV, high tech equipment, or vacumms to clean up afterwards. So I'm fine with it. Plus, the barber helped me spike me hair! She also left my fringe pretty much alone XD

Next, I went to get dinner at KFC. My legs were quite burnt by now already. I decided to go home via AYE. No, not by bus, on foot! At first they had concrete paths beside AYE while I was still in the clementi HDB area. Yet, after I left there, and entered the industrial area, the concrete disspeared.

Hahahahaha, so like me to take the path less travelled (the other path is by vehicle on road). In fact, the path wasn't really a path anymore! It was only a strip of grass, which seemed flatter than the rest. I didn't see anyone else on it throughout all my travels...

I did notice however, a railway track beside my "path". There were the two parallel strips of rusted metal, with granite (I think) pebbles surrounding. It was overgrown with weeds and TREES though. I wonder how long it has been abandoned...

Yes that's pretty much it. I arrived home after that (I live in such an ulu place :o).

BYE AGAIN!!
