Heyy peoplezzz. We did well yesterday! :D I'll just post my thoughts on the races, plus some other random stuff. Only the truth for you.

I admit when we first got into the 10crew for the heats, and rowed a bit, I did get quite nervous. Like, OMG we're going so slow... How are we going to win like that? I made up my mind that I'll push my hardest regardless (as usual), and accept the results as my best.

We lined up. There was that feeling in my arms, like electricity was surging through, they were tingling, itching for action. My grip was fixed tight, I was ready. "Are you ready?" "Ready!" "Attention!" *airhorn* The feeling as we whacked the water, the boat accelerating, harder harder, longer, longer... After 100m every other boat dissapeared. My morale suddenly shot up. I was tired, but it didn't matter. WE WERE WINNING COMFORTABLY. Haha then after the race we did the Brandon stunt, keep rowing to the pontoon, even after the race was over, without stopping. We were more or less confirmed medalists already.

3 hours to the next race, 20crew. Haha I just wanna thank everyone for messaging me and keeping me out of dead boredom! :D

When we got into the 20crew boat and paddled, it felt good. We were FAST. Even while easy rowing. Race starts... I remember BP managed to pace us for a bit. Then coach kept shouting at us and after 100m or so, we pushed on, and pulled away comfortably. Ownage mannn confirmed gold. Did the Brandon stunt again after the race. It was good!

10 crew finals an hour later. This was the real race. It was a fight between three boats. The AC sec3 boat, the AC sec4 boat, and BP. I was quite nervous, again. I really wanted a medal spot, and couldn't stand losing to BP. *airhorn* We started, not that well. Sec4 boat gained a considerable lead on us in the first part, nearly one boatlength ahead. Even BP was ahead, slightly. Cannot let it end like that... I upped power. BP slowly fell behind, and we were catching the sec4 boat. We were on par with the sec4 boat until the last part, where they final bursted and we just couldn't keep up. Won us by about 2m.

OH WELL AT LEAST WE SWEPT ALL THE TOP SPOTS.

You know, it's quite weird hearing all the cheering from shore, and knowing none of it is for us. And when we come up, all the "nice one"s coming from the crowds... NOT FOR US, but for the people we trash. So we lack supporters, yet does it hamper our ability to win? Look, my point is, we support ourselves. Because no one else will when we're on the water, it's all up to ourselves.
