Hello people. I have a little vulgar song for you =] I hope it doesn't offend anyone...

I feel I need to give a summary of K2 500m with Brandon...

First 50m - This is the part where the boat gets started up, I pull hard (very hard), to get the boat moving. Brandon pulls hard too.

Next 200m - Brandon whacks like crazy, I find that I pull less, very little water resistance (almost like K4) but I make up for this with longer strokes and a faster pull, although the water still remains quite light.

Next 50m - This is the part where Brandon dies out. I start to really feel the water, forcing me to slow down my stroke rate slightly. This is the tough part (if we end up in lane 6 we also have to put up with the turbulence the water pump creates).

Last 200m - I start off my trademark last 200m burst. I've been practising it for over a year now. It successfully kills me by the end of everything. I can't start it any earlier or I'll die out before the end. I'm really feeling the pull right about now... Almost like a single, but my single strokes tend to be slower.

I really don't know about the race on Sunday... We did a mock 500m race today. Timed 1min51s. That's quite a good timing, but I really was dying after that (and the pump at 300m didn't help much, don't ask me why there's a pump there). There are two situations I'll consider "okay".

1 - We win a medal in one of the finals. There are two finals, A and B, and 6 medals since there are so many competitors in this one event (about 70-80 people!) That is, top 3 in finals A or top 3 in finals B (1st and 2nd position from each of the 3 semifinals go to A, while 3rd and fourth go B finals).

Yes, I know it's quite weird to have the 3 fastest people getting a medal, the next 3 fastest without a medal and the next 3 with a medal. Is that the case? Haha I'm not sure... The thing says "1st,+ 2nd & 3rd BT from SF to FINAL (4th~15th BT to B/C Final)"

Man... It's past 12 already... Haha this shall be my post for Saturday then...
