Heya people. Today shall be inventions day! You see, I've been brainstorming with me for MI3, and come up with some stuff.

Modified Clothes Hanger

I'm refering the thing you use to dry clothes in HDB flats. So go away all you rich mansion people... Nah just read haha.

Okay it's hard to take the pole and hang it out because its heavy and stuff, and some people have fell out before and died (I think). And ummm... Due to some childhood incidents with the window, I don't like going there and looking down. So... I thought of a solution! Yay me!

You need 2meter poles (which must be able to support the weight of multiple clothes), another 2 poles with a smaller diameter than the first two poles (cover these with rubber to increase friction), a few ropes, and some tools (like hammer, saw, drill, etc).

Drill two holes the size of the pole's width in two poles. One right at the end, and the other about 20cm away from the other end of the pole. Remove the rubber from the other two poles where it would rub against the hole (==-===========-=). Stuff the poles coated with rubber into the holes. Make sure the rubber poles are fastened properly, but can still rotate. Then tie the ropes tightly such that they form a multiple tight loops around the rubber coated poles. Finally, attach it horizontally to the outside of the flat (either through the holders once used for the conventional cloth drying method, or make new holders.

In case you didn't get that...

So you put clothes on the ropes (and clip them), then you rotate the rubber coated pole outwards, such that the clothes you already put on the rope move away. Then you're presented with another row of empty cloth hanging line to put cloths on. Just keep doing this until the rope is full. No need for too much strength, or the risk of falling out.

Lovely huh? Just like... (I would say "me", but someone else came to mind).

Woah so long already. I'll keep the next one short I guess.

Pipe Wire

Have you noticed that drops of water moving down a string follow it's direction downwards? Like, if a string is slanted to the right then water drops from the top will follow the string to the right as well.

Well this could be used as a cheaper alternative to pipes for transporting small quantities of water.

That's all for the "inventions". Obviously, I spent more time pondering about the cloth hanger one.

A quote from some girl before I go.

"Men are like lava lamps. Nice to look at, but not very bright."

Some girl she is -.-
