Hello, this is my last post for the week, before I go for my first holiday to Veitnam. Okay, it's not supposed to be a holiday, but no training, no school, out of Singapore... Holiday! Yay! Haha...

Today's training was bad. We had the worst programme ever - 5 x 2km. Well, I guess it could be worse... Like for example 10 x 2km... But that hasn't happened before. Just to give you an idea of how bad it is... Imagining running five 2.4kms with 3 minutes rests in between each set. Killer? I agree.

I did the first set kinda ownagely. Really trashed the people in my wave 1. Left them 100m behind when I crossed the 1km mark, but when I had 500m left I kinda died and Brandon (from wave 2) overtook me... Well at least no one else did...

The three sets after that were bad... My arms felt... Empty. I was getting trashed by everyone... So sad.

The last set was okay. I did not want to let... Someone... Win me, so I pushed kinda hard (actually did a starting burst). Ended about 1 bouy behind Victor. Did a pulse stroke and played "Save You" in my head. It goes something like, "Sometimes I wish I could save you, And there are so many things..." Anyway... Yay! No more training for a week after today. =]

Haha I just went to look at the marathon results. I got 12th. 2 minutes from a medal. But then I don't think I would be willing to push that little bit harder (actually much harder) to get a medal. I may die or something... Oh yeah, just for your information, the people I leeched off got 2nd and 3rd in senior women K1.

Now I gotta sleep for OEP tomorrow, bye!
