Hello. The first Sunday schedule for the year is done. And it was a success. Okay, what should I post about today?

The Anatomy of a Joke

Let's take a typical Eugene joke.

Why did the Pokemon cross the road? Wynaut.

Look at all the connections!

Wynaut is a Pokemon, and it's pronounced as "why not?", which fits into a question like that. When you recieve the question, you would normally think logically. Why would a Pokemon want to cross the road? Of course, Wynaut (the name), does not make sense as an answer to that question. The answer opens up another way of thinking out of the norm, lateral thinking, right? And our brains seem to like that =P So there, my theory.

Now... Go forth and spread your word, other stuff.

My wrist hurts a lot now. I've been pushing too hard on dips... Kinda twisted/crushed my wrist while doing so.

I've never heard a song which has lyrics something like "I want to go to hell and stay there for all eternity". I mean, I've heard "I'll go to hell and back", and "saving you sends me to heaven". Why don't people want to go to hell? I mean, so what if you feel loads of pain and fear there? I mean, you're already dead... You can't kill a dead person... So what's with all the fear? As for the pain... I can't live without it. Besides, you have eternity to get used to it...
