Hi peoplezz! Welcome to post number 57 of this blog. It's just a number. A number. Well... actually... it's not just a number. It's a number with an exclaimation mark!

Okay, now to the only thing I ever have to say - training. I know I don't have a life, you don't have to remind me. Although... I'm open to... Hey, that reminds me of another joke by Eugene. "Don't have a life? Go make one." Yes, it's meant to sound wrong.

Ahh imagine our sickness now. What would happen when we go to JC (if we do)? I'll tell you what. Our "prodedness" plus girls, who are also as "skillded" as us in the... arts. Hey look, I've just talked about something other than training!

We did 5x2km sprints with resistance today. It was supposed to be "focus on strokes", but if you go too slowly you're in trouble (as demonstrated by Barnabas). I was totally owning with the resistance (essentially torture devices looking like oversized rubberbands with foam to make them fatter, attached to the boat), because I didn't take the super fat ones (which the people who could trash me took). Then 8 of us went to try out 2 K4s and the rest went running. I was part of the 8.

I don't like K4. I would rather run than try out a K4. I don't get it. I was using an FW (which has a smaller blade face) while the rest were using IVs (which have a larger blade face) but I got super tired, while the rest kept talking... and I could pace with the front guy because his strokes and mine were totally different. The stroke rate was also too fast and they didn't want to let me set the pace. I don't want to take it ever again, even if it means no competing for me.

The joy of running through a thunderstorm renewed itself today. It has been months since I last did it. The sting of water in my eyes... the carefreeness, something my parents will never allow me to do.
