Piggy!!

Hmmm... you'd probably never be interested in this, but here are more of my never-to-take-off concepts. Enjoy.

The Rubbish Crushing Bin

Da problemzz

Ever had those times when the rubbish bin overflowed? Well of course, a bin will overflow eventually, because matter takes up space, but this CAN be delayed. There are loads of air spaces in between the pieces of rubbish (like classroom trash consisting of paper, bottles, etc.), which take up much space in the bin.

Okay, I though of installing a flap inside the bin, which is weighed down by a weight when the lid is closed. When a person opens the bin's lid, gears/pulleys will transfer this energy into pulling the flap upwards, tilting it in the process (making it vertical) such that it won't take any trash with it. After the bin is closed, the flap will revert back to its horizontal state, going back down and pressing the trash.

This sounds logical and possible =]

I thought of another thing, by the way. Although it's more complicated, and maybe will never come true, it's a thought.

Fast Food Vending Machine

Actually, there isn't really a problem to start with. However, wouldn't it be cool if a vending machine supplied stuff other than just snacks and drinks. Think of it as, an automated McDonalds. Yeah.

mhmm weird idea. At least it takes up space, so my post looks longer...

Hehehe today was a funny day, so far anyway. We did 5x2km for training. Haha I was dying after the first set and dead after the second set. I was splashing (like, scraping the water's surface and hardly moving the boat at all) the last 200m of the second one because my arms didn't listen to me anymore. I slacked the third set (okay, I didn't exactly slack... but my timing was almost 12minutes, slower than my non-sprinting pace...). For the last two I rode Derek's backwash XD. I know, I'm a cheater... well at least I promised not to overtake him. Besides, he owes me a bus fare =P

After training I went wandering around Queensway. You see, I took the wrong bus (I can't remember which 1 I took. I didn't even look! Haha it rhymes =]) I ended up eating at the McDonalds beside Ikea, packing down 1000kcal (or so) of junk food XD. Could hardly walk after that.

Somehow...I made it home... haha.

Me: Okay (actually I did bring food... In the form of sour skittles). Are you going to do as well?

Nick: Obviously...

Me: Good.

*a hundred tiring pushups (not very tiring for me, since I'm so used to getting punished) later*

?: Yeah, that was just what I was about to say!

Me: That's just a nicer phrase for p**n.

?: Well, at least I just look at it... It's wrong to CONSUME p**n and I don't eat them!
