According to Lucas, the fact that "Singapore is not very badly affected by the US recession" is a lie. The STI fell roughly 30% since October, last year while Wall Street fell 10%. I have no idea how that affects me but... heck... tate... OMG TKAM is getting to me...

Stupid history remedial -.- Gavin said my suck up to Singapore government answers were wrong. Haha. I guess sometimes you have to state the truth...

I slept from 1pm to 5pm today! So now I can't sleep. =(

I'm watching some documentary on the 1929 US recession now. Now, what's the similarity between the current recession and that last one? Gains. Easy money. Back then it was because people found that they could make easy money from stock investment. This made the stock prices rise... and rise... and keep rising... But then people started selling you see. Everyone started selling. Stock prices dropped phenominally up to a point where no one wanted to buy anymore, causing a crash. So then basically everyone cried, sort of. Now it is somewhat because of people trying to make money from mortgages.

I think it's quite cool, how those rich people can buy loads of stocks, instantly driving the prices up, then selling, instantly making like... thousands, millions, billions maybe... But then, I wonder where the money comes from... Other people? Haha. Is it a win-win or win-lose situation? The rise of Singapore was due to traders coming here, making profits on both sides. It was a win-win situation which caused massive growth to Singapore. OMG stupid history...

Okay. Now... I need to shut up. Shaddap! ... =]
