Haha I got selected for the SMC (science mentorship programme), where you get a professional mentor and sort of be an apprentice. Haha it sounded quite cool, because I've always wanted to for example, predict the weather CORRECTLY. Hmmm... humidity indicators, satellite could images, time of the year... stuff like that... haha. Too bad I joined canoeing... It's given me loads of benefits, but the cost is quite... high... And it has also cost me this oppurtunity, as I'm not free after school. Yet, I don't know why I'm saying this. I mean, do I really want to sacrifice my time for such a programme? I would gladly give my place to people like Allister.

I still can't believe I failed life science last term. My practical marks were okay (70-80ish). I screwed up the 2 projects. For the DNA model, I scored 2/5, because the teacher didn't know how to bend my model properly =( it broke. For the essay, I initially scored 7/10, which is an okay mark, but the teacher just had to reduce it to 5/10 because I lacked a word count. A bit harsh huh? I also got 0 for the file because I photocopied one page from PH. So I failed, with an overall of 49.3 =[

I still think it's unfair that she gave Satiyam extension. I asked her afterwards if I could resubmit the file, removing the photocopied page. She said yes if I gave it to her that day. I asked her if she could return my file first. She said no. WTF. I might as well not put any effort into the file, because I got the same marks as the people who didn't do anything...

Haha. Am I satisfied with my results? Well, I just lowered my standards for the subjects I was dissapointed in... so yeah. I'm satisfied.
